We've seen plenty of motorcycle-related accidents on Southern California's Mulholland Drive, but we can't remember one as strange as this one, captured on film by cameraman and local enthusiast Ken Snyder.

In the video, a motorcyclist riding fairly slow on the right side of the road at "Dead Man's Turn" somehow fails to see the two bicycle riders in front of him and impales them one after the other with his bike…

SSC Tuatara Dyno Tested at 1,350HP, Deliveries May Start This December

The Tuatara has been in the works for a few years now, but unlike other manufacturers, SSC has chosen the closed doors approach to its development.

Now, though, according to Gizmag, the V8-powered hypercar is close to being finished, and deliveries may commence as early as the end of this year or in the beginning of 2014. The car, which is designed to be the fastest in the world, comes with a newly developed 423 cu.in. (6.9-liter)  twin turbo V8.

Watch a Very, Very Lucky Porsche 911 GT2 RS Driver Chase a Carrera GT at the Nürburgring

Pop quiz: which Porsche is more powerful and faster, the 997-gen 991 GT2 RS or the Carrera GT? You might be forgiven for answering the latter, as it was Porsche’s hypercar and a Ferrari Enzo rival whether the former just a souped-up version 911 Turbo at half the GT’s price.

The numbers, however, tell a different story. The normally aspirated 5.7-liter V10 in the mid-engined Carrera GT churns out 612HP (620PS) for a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration time of 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph). The twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter that’s hung out behind the rear axle of the 997 GT2 RS has an identical power output and top speed but is faster by 0.4 seconds in the customary 0-100 km/h sprint.

Nissan Prices 2014 GT-R Track Edition – Only 150 Coming to U.S.

Nissan has named its price for the U.S. market 2014 GT-R Track Edition, which it says, “is designed to take the legendary street supercar even closer to a pure motorsports competition machine”. Production for the US market is limited to just 150 units – imagine the sheer level of smugness one exudes when saying he has one of “just 150.” Read more »
